CCleaner
From UCanWiki
Ccleaner (short for Crap Cleaner) is a program which removes unneeded files from your computer. It is possible to remove many unneeded files manually by, for example, emptying your internet browser's cache. CCleaner deletes these files for you, but it also deletes files that are very difficult for you to find on your own, and which are not obviously unneeded.

Basic Usage Instructions
1. Make sure that you do not have any programs running. You need to do this because CCleaner will be unable to delete certain files if other programs are using them.
2. Open the "CCleaner" program.
Note: sometimes CCleaner will ask whether you would like to update your software: instructions on how to update CCleaner are given below. 3. Click the "Analyze" button at the bottom of the window. CCleaner will start scanning your computer to find files it can remove. The blue bar at the top of the window moves from left to right. When in gets to the right of the window it will start again at the left; this will repeat until CCleaner has found all of the files it needs to remove.
4. Once CCleaner has found all of the files it needs to remove, it will display a list titled "ANALYSIS COMPLETE" which shows the files CCleaner will remove. Click "Run Cleaner" in the bottom right of the window. The blue bar at the top of the window starts running again from left to right; again, this will repeat until CCleaner has found all of the files it needs to remove.
5. Once all of the files are removed CCleaner will display another list, this time titled "CLEANING COMPLETE". Click on the "Issues" icon in the left hand column of the window.
6. Click the "Scan for Issues" button at the bottom of the screen. Again, a blue bar will start running from left to right at the top of the screen; however, this time when the blue bar reaches the right of the screen the scan will be complete. When the scan is complete click "Fix selected issues" at the bottom of the window. A window asks you, "Do you want to backup changes to the registry": click "Yes". A new window, titled "Save As", pops up. Click "Save".
7. You will now see a new window, blue and white with no frame. Click "Fix All Selected Issues". A window will pop up asking you, "Are you sure you want to Fix all selected Issues?": click "OK".
8. You are then taken back to the blue and white, frameless window. Click "Close" in the bottom right hand corner of this window.
9. That's it: you're done! Close down CCleaner by clicking the cross in the top right-hand corner.
